Miyoki is a boutique ice cream parlor famous for its cats,
located in a city equally renowned for them. Over time, Miyoki’s cats have become just as vital a part of the brand as its ice cream, turning into a major focal point for customers.
People visit not only to enjoy ice cream but also to see the cats.
The goal of the brand design was to create a warm, welcoming, and memorable brand that would capture the attention of children and families, while also establishing the cats as the core identity and mascots of the brand.
A key part of my Miyoki brand design is the packaging's color palette. In designing the packaging, an effort was made to bring together the color variety of ice cream and the diverse colors found in cats. Cat patterns were mimicked by placing the prepared flavor icons on the packaging to form large patterns.
